FIVE days in our new house! We signed papers on Wednesday at 10am and had everything moved into our house by 3:30pm! That's some fast moving. It took two trips with the uhaul. Thanks to Brian and Brandon Hardman, Derrick, and my mom and dad for helping us move and unpack all those boxes. And a special thanks to Austin's parents for helping us get fans up and blinds and hanging rods and curtains up. :) The only thing we have left is hanging stuff on the walls... as you can tell they are very bare. Garage door opener goes in tomorrow. A HOUSE IS A LOT OF WORK! We have watered our yard non stop and it still looks a little brown. A sprinkler system is a MUST very soon. Looks like we are going to have to wrack those overtime hours up again. :) I feel very lucky and blessed. We have a nice house and we didn't even break the bank. Sometimes I get overwhelmed at all the blessings. Now the race is on to see how fast we can pay our house off. :)

Five Days and COUNTING!!

Only five more days!!! The last thing to go in is the sod! Hopefully that will be tomorrow or Monday. :)

House Updates

We had our new home orientation today. It's unbelievable but the inside of the house is completely done except for a few touchups!! :) Our final sign off and closing is still scheduled for Wednesday, July 21st. Crazy huh! Time has flown. Oklahoma weather is not cooperating with the landscaping contractor. They are praying it quits raining soon so they can get our yard in before closing.

So a new house means more shopping. Here are a few of our purchases... blinds, bathroom mirrow, rugs, and a few electrical outlets and dimmer switches.

AND THIS ONE!!!! We bought the small rug for in front of the sink and the large rug for under our table... It was way more than I wanted to pay but definately what I wanted.

I am going to miss our little apartment. Here are a few pictures I took today. :(
