We got bad news last week. They moved our closing day to July 21. Which is good because we close but bad because June 30th was the cut off day for the tax credit. Yesterday Chris called Austin and told us that he just received a letter from the government that the cut off day has been moved to October 31st! Which means we still get the tax credit!! We were both VERY happy! Yesterday we went to the house... painted walls and siding, counter tops, granite tops, stained cabinets... it is MOVING fast. CANT WAIT! Just a little over a month.

~SIX WHOLE MONTHS~

We made it six months without killing each other and without expecting a JR. lol

Our 6 mo anniversay dinner.... and that's NOT boxed mac-n-cheese. ALL homemade.

Austin just brought the top of our wedding cake home. Kitty had it stored in her freezer. It looks a little worse for the wear. :) Those holes are from the roses. We decided to have it on our 6 mo instead of waiting a year and boy am I glad we did... It is only a little freezer burnt. I can only imagine what it will taste like in another six months.

WOHOOOO!!!! UPDATED HOUSE PICTURES! AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY PARTY AUSTIN!!!

These pictures were from a few days ago. Every time we go to the house there is something new. Chris with Simmons Homes said we may still be in our house by June 30th!!! Oh Hallelujah. TAX CREDIT HERE WE COME! :)

The tile has been laid, the cabinets installed, and the door jambs done. We can't wait to go back and see what else has been done.

Happy Birthday Party Austin!!! We had our families over for fried chicken, mashed potatoes, milk gravy, green beans, and rolls... mmmmm. My mom helped me with the gravy. It was SO GOOD! We set the smoke detectors off with all the candles on Austin's cake. lol

Woohoo!! The drywall is completely finished AND we have brick!!!!
